Your health is our priority. This is why we’ve invested in Garner Health, an innovative benefit that works alongside the Waters medical plans.
The individual doctor, not the facility they work at, has the greatest impact on the quality of your care. Garner is a doctor search tool you can use to find the best doctors in your area and will reimburse you for eligible out-of-pocket costs when you visit them. These doctors, called Top Providers, follow best practices and keep you healthier. You have access to this information through the Garner Health app, where you can find Top Providers available near you.
By visiting a Garner Top Provider, the following medical expenses can qualify for reimbursement.
- Office Visits
- Imaging
- Lab Work
- Deductible
- Coinsurance
Garner Top Providers
Garner analyzes one of the country’s largest databases of medical claim records to evaluate doctors based on real patient outcomes to find top-performing doctors. These Top Providers are nearby, in-network, and have appointment availability to see you.
Garner identifies Top Providers within Aetna’s Choice POS II network based on their ability to:
- Practice according to the latest medical research
- Achieve the best patient outcomes
- Offer cost-effective treatments

By receiving care from Top Providers, you can reduce your deductible.

If you have an HSA, IRS rules require that your costs must exceed the minimum deductible of $1,700 for individuals and $3,400 for families prior to receiving Garner reimbursement.

Getting Started with Garner
When you visit a Top Provider, Garner will reimburse you for qualifying out-of-pocket medical costs. To begin your journey with Garner:
- Sign up for a Waters medical plan during Annual Enrollment
- Create your Garner Account at www.getgarner.com
- Search for a Top Provider in Aetna’s network and add them to your Care Team before your appointment to ensure they are approved and easy to find
- Get reimbursed for qualifying out-of-pocket medical costs
